2022年(ねん)1月(がつ)末(まつ)の時点(じてん)で、外国(がいこく)のパスポートを持(も)つ人(ひと)は日本(にほん)に入(はい)ることができません。日本(にほん)のパスポートを持(も)った日本人(にほんじん)でも、入国(にゅうこく)後(ご)、国(くに)が準備(じゅんび)した施設(しせつ)で3～6日間(かかん)隔離(かくり)(どこから来(き)たかによる)されます。実質(じっしつ)このような状態(じょうたい)が２年(ねん)間(かん)続(つづ)いています。

日本(にほん)の学校(がっこう)に留学(りゅうがく)したい。日本(にほん)で働(はたら)きたい。このような希望(きぼう)を持(も)った外国人(がいこくじん)の方(かた)が多(おお)くいると思(おも)いますが、そのような方々(かたがた)の多(おお)くは海外(かいがい)で待機(たいき)しなければいけない状況(じょうきょう)が続(つづ)いています。中(なか)には日本(にほん)の学校(がっこう)への学費(がくひ)の支払(しはら)いが終(お)わっている方(かた)もいらっしゃるかもしれません。

また、ビジネスで日本(にほん)に行(い)きたくても、行(い)けません。このような状態(じょうたい)で本当(ほんとう)に社会(しゃかい)や経済(けいざい)は回(まわ)っているのでしょうか。心配(しんぱい)になります。早(はや)く日本(にほん)との行(い)き来(き)ができるようになるといいですね。

No Foreigners Allowed in Japan at this Time

As of January 2022, no one with a foreign passport will be allowed to enter Japan. Even Japanese nationals with Japanese passports will be quarantined for three to six days (depending on where they came from) in a government-prepared facility after entering the country. In effect, this situation has been going on for two years.

I want to study at a Japanese school and work in Japan. There are many foreigners who want the same, but many are forced to wait overseas. Some have already paid their school fees in Japan.

Even if foreigners want to go to Japan for business, they can’t. Are social and economic activities really going on right now? It worries me. I hope I can move to Japan soon.
