For today’s school lunch, we featured Greek food for “Taste of the World.” We had moussaka, the most well-known Greek casserole dish with lots of vegetables. We also had pita bread with hummus, and Greek salad, which is made with vegetables, feta cheese, and dressed with olive oil. For afternoon snack we had baklava, a classic Greek dessert pastry made with layers of filo filled with garbanzo beans.

We featured Korea in February. In March, we fetured local food from Okinawa for school lunch and afternoon snack.

We made it to the midway. The students became comfortable each other , and they enjoy playing games and dodge ball all together that age doesn't matter.

In honor of kid’s day on May 5th we made a huge kids day carp (Koinobori). The children made each scale one by one painting it their favorite colors. Finally it turned out to be a rainbow carp. As soon as we hung up the finished carp the room immediately lit up.
