Seattle Executives Association had its annual Golf Tournament on Friday, July 26. It was a gorgeous day at Legion Memorial in Everett. Execs enjoyed the company and competition.

Congratulations to Jill Hashimoto of the Seattle Mariners. She received her membership plaque at our July 17 luncheon. Her mentor was Cheryl Thompson of Complete Office Furniture.

Jack Goldberg of Personnel Management Systems recently gave his Classification Talk. He spoke about how to be a “good or best employer”. Some attributes of a “good or best employer” are accountable managers, employees feeling valued and cared for and employees having job pride and satisfaction.

At our latest meeting, we heard about theProfit Mastery Class offered by Dan Cote' of CFO2Go. Dan excels in the development of the corporate profit planning function.

Dan has over 20 years experience in financial policy administration and implementation. He is experienced in multi-location operations ranging from $250,000 to $120 million revenue per year and has extensive experience in both service and manufacturing environments. Having owned and operated a manufacturing and contracting business, he understands the issues that most business owners confront on a day-to-day basis.He has also been instrumental with companies in the origination and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and controls and has been closely involved in the financial reorganization (Chapter 11) of both large and small companies. Dan has also instructed accounting and finance courses for City University undergraduate and MBA programs.

Alan Sidel of Don's Group Attire recently gave his company's classification talk. He spoke about how the 67 year old company evolved from a menswear shop to a logo apparel company.
