Yesterday was my first visit to Dr. Mark Balter and the Northwest Vision Clinic. In the past year, I have seen 3 different ophthalmologists regarding an eye problem I have and in 15 minutes, Dr. Balter explained more to me about the problem than any of them ever came close to doing. From the moment I walked in and had interaction with Dr. Balter’s friendly and efficient staff, I felt I had come to the right place. With Dr. Balter, I didn’t feel as if I was just another patient he had to see that day. He didn’t hurry through the exam and explained to me everything he was doing and why. I am having to make the big leap to bifocal glasses this year but he took all of the hesitation I had about this away by explaining why this was the best for me. Picking out glasses is an important thing (you want to get the right frames) so I relied on the professional opinion of his staff and feel they helped me select what would look best on me. When I left, Dr. Balter again told me to not hesitate to contact him if I have any problems with my eyes. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Balter and Northwest Vision Clinic to anyone who needs an eye exam or new glasses or contacts.
