Literary Fragments: England

スレッド
"I'm leaving for England, Marie."

So that's what you wanted to tell me? Honestly, I was expecting something pleasant, since we're in good terms now. We're having a stable friendship. No, not just friendship... it is something else.

"And I might not come back."

Am I really hearing this? He'll go somewhere far away from here, and he won't come back? No... this couldn't be. My feeble hands start to tremble with fear. Fear that i won't see him again.

"Listen, Mike... I just wanna say..."

I love you. I really do. It's just that i cannot profess my love for you without thinking about how you would react after. Will you situate yourself away from me? Will you love me back?

"I..."

love you.
need you.
don't want you to go.

"...hope you'd have a great life in England."

I just couldn't say it. I feel so stupid.

"Is that... all you want to say?"

No, Mike... NO! There is something more, something else... I love you!

"Yes, that is all..."

*EDIT*
So there was a technical error, since when I posted Mike's take on England, I copy-pasted this. Then there was a mix-up... And the original lines were lost. So I have to type it again. The only thing that kinda sucks is the fact that I forgot the crucial, dramatic lines that Marie thought after Mike's line: "Is that all...?"

Well, at least it's still here. Ü

They say that all of us are not afraid or scared to confess how we truly feel. What we are afraid of is how the person would react.
