I got married in 1985 and the car I purchase for my wife was a 1983 CIVIC 4 Door. I found this car at the repair shop in Seattle and I purchased them before they fixed it. I asked them to fix it and I took a delivery. All damages were fixed and look very good for $3800 I paid. I think we kept this car for 5 yard and sold it for $3,000.
Also, when the company I created was closed by the order of Japanese parent company. I sold both company cars and purchased 1985 Honda Accord.

Do you know why the Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. logo is shaped like this? It has to do with the history of PSP as a company. Nowadays, PSP is mainly in the business of hosting web sites and mail servers, but that's been the story since 1996. Before that, we were in a different business all together.
Up until 1996, our main business was licensing U.S. software, providing Japanese language support, creating Japanese language packages, and selling them in Japan through Japanese distributors. Yes, as the company name suggests, Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. was engaged in software publishing.
Let me tell you about the relationship that exists between the publishing business and this logo. We translated U.S. software into Japanese and sold it in Japan through an exclusive distributor assigned to each title. At that time, these distributors did not want to reveal the existence of PSP. The reason for this was to make it appear that the distributors were not selling PSP’s services as distributors, but rather the software as their own products, all ready for sale.
The original company logo could identify PSP easily. Therefore we had to create a logo on the package that was not easily recognizable as PSP. This is the reason why the logo does not look like it says PSP at first glance. It is interesting to note that even now, when creating and selling web hosting and other Internet server applications, licensees try to hide the existence of PSP. It seems that no matter how much time passes, no matter how much business changes, PSP will always be behind the scenes and something to hide.

In a nutshell, a salesperson is someone who listens to the customer. It is your job to find out what the customer is having trouble with, what they are worried about, and what they are thinking about. If you think that your job is to sell something to a customer or to make a proposal, you are not a good salesperson.
Sales are the eyes and ears of the company, not the mouth. Their role is to interact with customers and understand them. Marketing, on the other hand, is the mouth of the company. The job of marketing is to make the company's existence known to as many people as possible. It is important to have a good balance between the mouth, eyes, and ears. However, for a company, the ears and eyes are more important than the mouth.
My company is always looking for people who can be our eyes and ears. People who can build a bond with customers. There are many places to find employment, not only in my company, and this is the kind of sales I want. I don't need someone who only chases numbers and does nothing but talk.

When I graduated and came back from the US, I bought a used Fairly Z 2x2 2000cc in Japan. This car is different from the ones sold in the US. It has back seats and car was little longer.
I bought this car used for 300,000yen or about $1500 (Based on 1983 Japanese Yen to US$ Exchange Rate).
It had wide tires with no power steering ... I was the only one who can drive it. I really like this car. I kept it until I moved back to the US three years later.

When I arrived in the US, I did not have a driver' license. I took a driving class and got license in three days. It would have taken me months in Japan. I learn to drive on Chevy NOVA. The teacher (lady) took me on LA Freeway on the secondary. That was the most crazy thing I have done up to then.
I have rented Ford Pinto while I was going to English School. This was the same Pinto famous fr exploding when it was hit from the rear. I did not get.
My first car that I purchased in the US was VW Beetle.
I used this car to commute from Gardena to Azusa for a year. The I moved to Azusa.
It was a nice car until I rent it to my friend and he drove with parking break on.
The rear tire caught fire and the car was total loss.
Then I bought Datsun B210 ... I drive it until I graduated and sold it to my friend (other friend). I also had Honda CB 750F motorcycle as well.

I got this car when I was 18. This was the very first car I remember driving. I did not have a driver's license, so I just drive around my house. You can call it a practice car. The was given to me.
I had a column shifter and clutch. That is all I remember. I banged it up very bad. I left it at my house when I left for the US to study. I don't know what happened to it. It probably went to scrap yard.

"Narcissistic"
Narcissistic personality disorder involves a pattern of self-centered, arrogant thinking and behavior, a lack of empathy and consideration for other people, and an excessive need for admiration. Others often describe people with NPD as cocky, manipulative, selfish, patronizing, and demanding.
"job creator"
A person, organization, or activity regarded as providing new opportunities for paid employment.
Hmmm, it is a mixed message. I guess I am considered selfish ass who creates jobs.

As society moves in a socialist direction, what I don't like is the tendency to punish those who make an effort in the name of equality. It is often said that there is a law in companies that says 80:20. It means that 20% of the people achieve 80% of the company's sales. Of course, the 20% of people are not rewarded with 80% of the company's revenue.
The socialist view is that everyone is equal and everyone is paid equally regardless of their work. This is based on the idea that those who contribute less will contribute more and become equal. However, in reality, it is based on passing the wages from those who contribute more to those who contribute less.
This does not reward those who work hard. This is the problem with socialism today. For example, in Washington State, where I live, 1.1% of the price of a new car is collected as a tax to be used for light rail projects. In short, the more expensive the car, the higher the tax. This is a tax law that punishes people who work hard and save their money to buy expensive cars. I don't like it.
I believe that companies need to create an organization that rewards people for their hard work, and that encourages people to work hard instead of dragging them down, in order to grow.

When you are running a company, it is not often that you can see everything clearly and make decisions.
The information you are given is limited, and you have to make the best decision you can with the information you are given.
That is what being a manager is all about. Therefore, there are many times when you make the wrong decision.
It is the amount of information you have at the time that determines whether you can make the right decision or not.
As long as the information is correct and objective, you can come to your own conclusions.
However, if the information is wrong or biased, you will never be able to come to the right conclusion.
The basis of management is information. Managers need the right information and the means to gather it.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could do business with promises? When things are going well, promises are enough. However, as the years go by and business continues, promises are forgotten and people start to think about their own interests instead of the interests of the other party. When this happens, a hierarchical relationship is created in the business.
In order to prevent this situation, business is not based on promises (mutual understanding), but on contracts that clarify the roles and responsibilities of both parties. This is very unfortunate, but it is necessary.
However, there are times when making a contract becomes the goal and business does not proceed. If this is the case, there may be no point in continuing with that business relationship. Basically, business is built on trust and over time, that relationship crumbles. Especially when people change, it is not uncommon to forget the initial intention.
This is why we need contracts, but what we really need is communication between companies. The problem shows its face when things become too strict. I believe that contracts are becoming more and more important. Especially now that there is no face-to-face interaction due to the current pandemic.

Just because Parler.com does not sensor Trump and other rightwing posts, AWS kicked it our of their service. Is this even regal? Was there a court order?
https://parler.com is consider uncensored alternative to twitter and used by many Trump supporters. However, I do not think https://parler.com is a rightwing social media. It just did not censor the posts like Google, Twitter and Facebook.
I do not agree with what many of the rightwing people are saying but shut the business down down for that? Where is the "Freedom of Speech?" Freedom of the speech does not only apply to the thing you like.

It appears three branches of the US Federal Government (legislative, executive and judicial) are all control by Democratic Party. It will be interesting how the United States will change. The reason why we have three branches are to
To ensure the government is effective and citizens' rights are protected, each branch has its own powers and responsibilities, including working with the other branches.
Hmmm ... I hope we are going in the right (left) direction.

Some customs and habits are obvious, such as "going to church on Sunday" or "family gatherings on Thanksgiving and Christmas”. While others, such as "leave the house on the right foot first", are not so obvious. There are many different customs in business, but they are taken for granted by the people who work within a company, so you may not notice them.
What are some of the habits in your company? For example, taking a long time to make a decision may be a habit. Having too many meetings could also be a habit in your company. There are some habits that should be broken, and some that should be continued.
A company's habits are also unknown to the people within a company. As previously mentioned, I believe that good habits should be continued, but there are also habits that should be stopped. However, since you can't see your own habits, it might be a good idea to have someone outside the company take a look.
