Took ten years, but finally can get it! Bear in mind, Eigo Ganbare can’t depend on that only. It also needs ALTs to help support ALT content creators/developers.

Eigo Ganbare's Vision for 2030
"Making a difference in team-teaching"
https://eigoganbare.github.io/freecodecamp-personalportfoliowebpage
An open-source platform for accessing team-teaching resources.
A site that was created to help JTEs and ALTs.
This is Eigo Ganbare from 2012 and news updates were posted on
bloguru.com/eigoganbare for the first time.
Bloguru is a bilingual blog site - Japanese and English. No ads.
The classic free team-teaching resource website for JTEs and ALTs.

This is my second attempt in trying to ask ALTs to write about their ALT success story and is a great way to contribute your time to helping others. Yes, I do need YOUR help! (The first attempt was last summer.)

A news article about implementing ICT resources in ALL Japanese schools!

If this happens, please inform your work colleagues about
Eigo Ganbare Classroom Portal!
FREE resources for Japanese public schools only
What do you think it means to be a direct hire ALT? Do you get the same benefits as your JTEs and other subject teachers? For example, access to the school’s network to plan your team-teaching curriculum. What about your very own school account or school e-mail address?
Some years ago, I have seen Japanese assistant teachers with a U.S. school e-mail address. Then, I learned they could apply for a $1000 grant to purchase Japanese language teaching materials!!
In Japan, however, schools are known for being low-tech in the classroom. But, here's the thing. It doesn't have to be like that. There is a FREE education plan for teachers and students. Once the school admins apply for these and are set up, you will get something like this shown on the photo below - when login with a school .ed.jp account.
*If work tablets are provided, the use of Microsoft Teams will be efficient for smooth communication between schools and when ALTs are assigned to multiple schools on a weekly basis.
I just finished a major update in adding more content onto Eigo Ganbare JLPT Support page.

If you ever walk into a computer club and see Japanese public students are simply playing old-school free games like I did, why not change it and advocate the STEM program!
Your students can access the STEM: Learn to Code on Eigo Ganbare Classroom Portal.
