コンピューテックスは基本的にハードウェアが中心ですが今年はAIに関連した製品がいくつか展示されていました。いくつかと言うのは間違いですね。ほとんどのものがAI関連の問題だと言っても間違いではありませんが、実際にAIを作っている会社というのは全くありません。AIをどのように活用するかと言う話が多く出ていたように思います。またAIを活用するためにはどのようなハードウェアが必要なのかと言う話があったような気がしますが、それは私の業界にはあまり関係のないような話でした。AIを使ったいくつかのアプリケーションで面白いものがあったのでもう少し調べてみようかなと言う気になりました。

昔から思っているのですがコンピューテックスでは多くのゲーム関連の展示があります。特にゲーミングコンピューターに関するPCからペリファイルまで多くの展示がありました。それとは全く別のんですが、コンピューターのキーボードを作っている会社や、マウスを作っている会社なども展示してるんですが、そこだけを見ると未だ20世紀と言う気がしました。来年は コンピューテックスに行くかどうか分かりませんが、台湾にたまに行くのは楽しいですね。

It's been five years since I attended Computex 2019. Compared to five years ago, the scale of the event seems significantly smaller. I used to associate Computex with the image of flashy-dressed models, but this year, I hardly saw any. As a result, there were fewer people just gathering to take photos of the models. Despite the smaller scale, there were still a lot of attendees.

I attended on the 4th and 5th. On the 4th, I mainly did the registration and walked around a bit. On the 5th, I stayed from morning till evening, but it was quite challenging to find time for lunch. Moreover, it rained all day on one of those days. Even so, I managed to have discussions with a few companies, which was good.

Computex mainly focuses on hardware, but this year there were several products related to AI on display. Actually, saying "several" is an understatement; almost everything seemed to be tied to AI in some way. However, there weren't any companies actually creating AI; rather, the focus was on how to utilize AI. There were many discussions about what kind of hardware is needed to leverage AI, though these discussions weren't particularly relevant to my industry. There were some interesting AI-powered applications that caught my eye, so I might look into them further.

As always, Computex featured many gaming-related exhibits, especially for gaming computers and peripherals. In contrast, companies making computer keyboards and mice also had displays, but these felt somewhat dated, as if they were still stuck in the 20th century. I’m not sure if I’ll atten
