Seattle sales tax went up to 10.1% today.
But I needed to buy something ... Well, I drove all the way up to Marysville Outlet and bought it. Because this outlet is located in=side the Tulalip Indian Reservation, the sales tax is still at 8.9%.
Maybe just 1.2% but still is 1.2%. This sales tax hike is creating an unfair advantage to the shops that is not affected by this sales tax hike. That is especially true when you buy a large ticket items including cars.
