Many of you already know that I imported headphones from China to see if I can sell them in the US using online only. How many of you have ever done this before.
I have not even sold that many yet but I am learning many things. The first thing I learned is ... price alone is not a good enough reason for people to buy. I really have to create a brand ... which I have never thought about.
I will be starting branding or marketing of my company next week. This is interesting. Everyday I learn something ... from the mistake ;)

Our parking lot is turned into a detailing shop today. This car detailing business was started by University of Washington Foster Business Schools students. I will bring them to Seattle Executives Association one of these days. I really like their entrepreneurship.

When you can buy some PCs and Laptops for few hundred dollars and they do perform reasonably well when you
- Surf the Net
- Write / Send / Receive Emails
- Using Office Products
But when you start doing things like Graphics Editing, Video Editing, Games, Virtual Reality, those inexpensive PCs and Laptops just don't cut it. Just let you know, the graphics card alone will cost you more than some of the PCs.
To do a good job, you are expected to pay at least $1,500 for the PCs. That sounds expensive but when you consider 30 years ago, IBM PC cost over $8,000 ... that has 1/1000 of the processing power and 1/100000 of memory of today's smartphones ... $1,500 is a bargain.
You need a good tool to do good work.
I am traveling to Japan and Taiwan from May 23 to June 2.
This is the first time I am planning to go to Taiwan to attend COMPUTEX.
It is one of the biggest IT and computer related shows in the world.

Costco Gas Price has gone up since last week.
Iy has been 12 days since the surgery ... Pompom is coming back remarkably thanks to all your prayers and support. He will have follow up next week and I am expecting everything to be okay.
Even a small dog like Pompom is so strong. You learn a lot from him. Those pictures were taken this morning just before the morning walk.
I came up with a lot of crazy ideas ... But there was a person who made my idea in to reality. His name is Satoshi Takaki ... He retired two years go ... I miss him a lot.
He came over last night ... He looked great and sounds very happy to be retired.

I deleted their phone number using Photoshop.
Those are the reasons why you should have a website?
- You cannot expect people to remember your phone number.
- Not having website makes you look very unprofessional.
- People often do not want to talk to you but want to get more info.
In addition to your website, you should have your own domain. You do not want to send people your email using free email service like Gmail.

Azure Cloud Japan East was down for 8 hours in Japan (3/31/2017 22:28 to 4/1/2017 07:16). Things that can happen will happen, no matter how much money and resource you spend on it. This time, it was due to the air conditioning units.

I forgot to buy something at outlet yesterday at Marysville. So I went to North Bend outlet thinking I had to pay 10% sales tax. Well, I did not pay 10%, not according to the receipt. The sales tax at North Bend Premium Outlets is 8.9%. I was happily surprised.
This is not Joke!!!
Seattle sales tax went up to 10.1% today.
But I needed to buy something ... Well, I drove all the way up to Marysville Outlet and bought it. Because this outlet is located in=side the Tulalip Indian Reservation, the sales tax is still at 8.9%.
Maybe just 1.2% but still is 1.2%. This sales tax hike is creating an unfair advantage to the shops that is not affected by this sales tax hike. That is especially true when you buy a large ticket items including cars.
