Email Marketing ... Very popular thing. But you know people are getting many emails in their mail box. So, sending email may not be enough, you need to control what time you send your email.
When you send email at night, your email will be a part of bunch of emails people open in the morning. Your email will not get any attention you need.
It is a pain in the rear but when there is a leak in the building you own, you have to fix it. I think it is third or fourth time this deck has develop a leak ....
What do you do when you receive an email like this?
Well, I almost opened it. I saw the email was sent not from UPS. This is a phishing email asking me to reveal my account name and password. So, you should be careful too.
He has one heck of am online shopping site going. It is all made in the USA.That is very cool. I think he can make a good living after he leaves the office.

As a business owner, you are faced with many business decisions, but there are things that has nothing to do with the business but you have to take care... This time, the building ... We need to replace some of the woods here!!!
We had two small lights in front of our building at night. We did not feel safe, so we added three new high intensity lights. And under each light, there are security cameras recording everything 24 hours a day.
There is a coupon code that is on the net making $499 laptop to $299. The Coupon Code works on LENOVO's Web Site but does not allow you to check out. So I called LENOVO. They say that code is not theirs and they can not honor that. (So, why does it work on their system?) I did not want to give them a hard time but they should honor that or make the coupon not work at all. I think (I know) they screw this one.
This is an image that I received from my father in Japan. Elders in this pictures are learning how to use computer at civic center. Computers are changing how people communicate at any age. This is a good thing.
Our software design concept for 2012 is HYBRID SOFTWARE.
What is the HYBRID SOFTWARE? Well, it is a hybrid of local program and web server application. Forget Internet browser, we will build the local application but instead of storing data on the local hard disk drives, the software store data on the web server like web applications.
By having the local program, program will respond much quicker with better screen control too. This is a concept that we will be pushing for 2012.
We belong to an association called Seattle Executives Association ( http://www.seattleexecs.org ) and we meet with other 100+ business every week to exchange ideas and leads. We are currently looking for a good member. We may call you if we think you are a fit.
If you have 10 accounts, that is $1,200 per year to start. It does not even include domain name. Some people say, it includes Microsoft Office License ... Does it? Online version are good for viewing not for writing or creating.
If you just need 10 email accounts under your domain, you can use PSPINC's email hosting for $250 per year that includes domain registration.
Don't take me wrong. Microsoft 365 is a good product, but not for smaller companies. Microsoft 365 should be compared to Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Notes hosting environment where companies need to purchase servers, software licenses and IT support people. Compared to that Microsoft 365 is very economical.
PSPINC was formed in July 1987. It has been almost 25 years. We have grown from a single person company operated from my apartment room to multi million dollar company with over 50 employees. It took 25 years to do this. That is very slow for so called hi-tech companies. That is because we did this 100% organically.
We wil be having our 25th anniversary party on July 13 at Marriott Redmond Town Center. Now we are starting get ready for this event.
If you are an International company and needing to attract Japanese customers, you may want t consider building Japanese web site. We can do that here at Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. ( http://www.pspinc.com )
Well, one of the tires on my 1959 Mercedes Benz 220S gave up. I replaced all four tires today. They are very small tires comparing to newer cars' tires.
I purchased life time warranty on those tires for $11 a tire. Considering I only drive less than 500 miles a year, I will be keeping this set of tires as long I live with 100% warranty. Unless Discount Tires goes out of business, I hunk I just purchased the last set of tires for my 220S.
I took these pictures this morning when I was waking dogs at Bellevue Highland Park near our office. Very strange and creepy. It is like one of the Godzilla movie.
Do you know what it means when I say "There is a Galapagosization of Japanese cell phones"?
Do you know Galapagos Island ... It developed its own species because the island was isolated from the rest of the world. That is exactly what happened to the cellular phone technologies in Japan. All Japanese cellular phones evolved technically but with no compatibility to the rest of the world.
Galapagos Keitai (Cellular Phone) = GalaKei
It is now being taken over by SmartPhones like iPhone and Android.
I have purchased new Digital SLR camera for PSPINC. This one can take 1080HD video was on sale at Costco. It arrived today. I purchased this camera to replace Nikon D70 I purchased long time ago. But I have decided to clean up D70 as well. D70 is at Nikon repair center in California being overhauled.
We are remodeling our damaged patio area today. Berg's Landscaping the company we use for all landscaping work. They are a member of Seattle Executives Association.

A picture can tell you more than what you can see outside. Every time, a picture is taken by a digital camera, it embeds information like
- Date
- Time
- Camera Name
- Lens
- Focus
- Exposure
and it can sometime can embed GPS information. That means, it may carry location information. So you may want to be careful what picture you put up on your blog or other SNS. Those information can be access using software like iPhoto.
I have performed system update on my MacPro suggested by Apple update. As soon as I finished updating, non of the program works any more. I am starting to restore system from the back up.
I need to search online to find out what went wrong.
